Kate Elkington is a Queensland writer based on the Sunshine Coast. She has completed a Doctor of Creative Arts, Master of Communication (Creative Writing) and Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) degree, and has taught creative writing at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Kate's linked short story collectionWool Spin Burn was shortlisted for the 2015 Queensland Literary Awards (Emerging Queensland Writer - Manuscript category), and her work has been published and recognised in Australian anthologies, literary journals and national competitions.
